A classic hero type, from Iron Man to Solar, energy projectors are very common in appropriate literature.

Some character generation guidelines:

Energy Projectors may purchase one power for which the 'x' rule is violated.  This power must have a minimum of 2 1/2 in Limitations, which must include both Increased End Cost and (possibly or) Charges (with Costs End, as appropriate).
