Growing up the only child of a wealthy landowner, Felicia Laroq is used to getting what she wants. Unlike many of that ilk, however, she values her independence and ability to achieve results without her father. Knowing that her mother paid the ultimate price to bring her into this world, Felicia strives to live the life she believes her mother would have wanted her to live.

Felicia is not as implacable as her father, but what she lacks in ruthlessness she more than makes up for with determination, force of will and personality. Throughout her life she has found that flexibility is more likely to lead to success than single-minded forcefulness. Her ability to adapt to changing landscapes has borne fruit more often than she can count.

In a confrontation she usually leads with the carrot, and resorts to the stick only when necessary. She is perfectly willing to feign loyalty as long as it suits her, when in reality her only fealty is to her father and the family name.
