The worlds first superhero. He appeared in New York during 1981 and began combatting the rise in violent crime that had been trending since the early 1970's. He almost singlehandedly reversed the trend and made New York City one of the safest large cities anywhere in the world. He is sometimes referred to as the progenitor, or the primeval New Man, even though it is highly unlikely that he caused anything or was even the first. He was just the first to receive widespread acclaim.

He was killed on live TV in 1983 by Vercingetorix.

Powers

Being the worlds first public superhero, Fist was relatively straight-forward. His right fist glowed red and caused extraordinary damage. He was also nearly impervious to damage of all types (until his demise). He demonstrated an ability to run and jump at a superhuman level.
