Edmiao we have a lot to do on the island. Among them is visiting Fairyland and chatting with King Dionysus and delivering a bucket full of how do you do's from all the folks we met (wood elves and grendel among them)

Matts I'd just like to say that was a hell of a session. I'd like to also point out for the sake of future group survival, that while we kicked a bunch of ass, I also hit stomach, vitals, or head on like 7 out of 10 hits in the session, so it may not be a statistically representative sample.

Wait, no. I meant to say that we whooped the shit out of Sir SISSY, etc, etc. And since I won't be there next session, Aetan only wants to do one thing - defenestrate Arcus. Please allow me this one lagged-out action, or keep that son of a bitch on ice until I'm around!

GABE: Ben, can we change how we have our points in our magic weapon? The whole ego attck really isn't doing what I wanted, I wanted to change it to a drain body attack, goes along with my character I think. If not, tis cool.

BEN: sure, that's fine in principle, but I'd like to give it a once over on saturday. I think that I've been too lazy in looking over powers people take, and I need to clinch down a bit as you guys start taking nastier abilities. Also, if you are interested in switching your character, that is something we should also discuss soon.

GABE: Actually since your pretty active on this page today... Ben in the spells book for Hero (1st one), it lists golem construction under the alchemist section. However, normal golems like clay, iron, what have you, don't fit my character. Would it be possible for me to make golems, but more along the lines of scarecrows from Shadowmoor? I wouldn't want to make more then 2, and mostly this is so I could make a tank. What do you think?

BEN: I think we briefly discussed this at the start of the game. Yes, in concept I think that is really cool. However, since I just discovered I had a completely screwed up idea about how followers work, I'd like to carefully look at the rules for this so that we can agree on what the parameters/costs/limits/etc of this process would be.

GABE: Yeah, these would actually be a summon, or built around that so if they get destoryed I don't loose the points. And yeah sounds good, I'll do a double read through on the section today too. Is that okay if they are built with summon? It would be like extra time, day or week or something like that. It wouldn't be like the big baddies' insta summons.

BEN: as I told Ed, I'm not very comfortable with non-Eburon magicians taking summoning magic. I understand the mechanic you are going for, so its discuss-able. That being said, there would be a laundry list of un-modifiable disads. the power would always have to have (as in, not removable with xp). Without looking into it, I would say the list would at minimum include extra time and expendable foci. We can discuss in detail tomorrow.
