After the success of the 3/15 board gaming event, I propose that we have a regular board gaming day, either monthly or biweekly. We can use this page to discuss location, timing and anything else which is related.

Games People Play

Here is a list of games we have available, and people should comment on them so we know which ones should be available for game days. If enough discussion is spawned we should create individual pages for the games themselves.

Shogun [3]
Fury of Dracula [4]
Blood Royale [5]

Proposed Dates

Here be discussion of when game days should occur.

--Dieter the Bold 12:20, 17 March 2008 (MST) We're missing too many people this weekend, but howzabout next weekend? March 29th? I have another concert that evening as well, but Ben should be in town, so we could do it at BnD again or somewhere else without any restrictions. If that's too soon, the weekend after? April 6th?

JASON: I can probably do the 6th, but this weekend will not work.

Attendance

Here be discussion of who can or can't come.

--Dieter the Bold 12:16, 17 March 2008 (MST) Just tossing out that with 7 people, we were pretty full up at BnD. So we need to figure out just how many we can have there or else we'll need to limit or propose a different location. I have 2 friends I can invite (no RoboRally), plus one girl from work who loves Risk, but not really boardgame experienced besides. I figure at BnD we can fit the big table, smoosh the coffee table against the fair wall area and put 2 or 3 people around that, and then Jason's folding table and have 4 or so around that. So I figure maybe 10 people at BnD without getting too ridiculous. Ed, how many people could we fit at your place?

--Edmiao 13:22, 17 March 2008 (MST) we could fit lots probably. we have the small table and a card table. with extra card table from jason easy two large set up games. 12 for games max (6 and 6).

JASON: I know its a bit out of the way for some (but only as much as Ed's is for me), my place will be able to accommodate many people once I am finished cleaning the garage. This is my next project after this weekend's painting expedition. We could probably alternate between the locations (mine and Ed's and BnD).

--Dieter the Bold 16:29, 17 March 2008 (MST) Your house isn't that far away, Jason. About as far as Ed's is from us. Anyhoo, chat amongst yourselves as to future dates so we can start blocking time off, since I think this crowd is quick to book weekends. I'm totally fine in hopping over to Northgate or West Seattle. And so are other friends I could visit.
