Hassan was a good shit-stirrer as well. Much enjoyment there. Actually, the characters I enjoyed the most were all of the ones from the first Heroes game I played with y'all, when I played Ethan. Senju (sp?), Stephanie, the really old fart (Matt's char), and the rest. And of course the old chinese man. Ben, that was classic. | ||

Me an' ben were thinking it'd be good to shoot for uninterrupted 3 starting WFRP sessions IF POSSIBLE. Are you gone next weekend, the weekend after? Is anyone going to Mars and not telling us? These things are important!
--Gdaze-- We can game at my house if that is alright with ye'll. Cept it seems everyone lives on the Seattle side. Well let me know, my place is coo' if ya'll want to but I know Ben's and Dieter's place now could become a perma-game place? Or whatever. Anyway I will be gaming too.
--Edmiao 10:15, 28 August 2007 (MST) My vote is for Ben's place, closer to home for me. I will be present this week and next. 50% chance for Sept 14th and gone on the 21st and 28th. My vote for game would be WHFRP, cus it's best to have all players present at the start of the game.
--Gdaze-- Yeah I figured we will have it there a lot more often, now if either of the 2 people living there would enlighten us. And yes, since we have everyone doing WHF would be best. On a side note, I've begin running a WHFRP with this other group I play with... wow the system really matchs their play style quite well. So far the group is 1 Dwarf Rune Bearer, 1 elf student, 1 elf outlaw, and 1 halfling grave robber. The highlight was when the elf student asked the dwarf if he could borrow his crossbow. This lead to the dwarf going off about how an elf finally recognizes dwarf craftmanship as being supier to elf made stuff. Great.
BEN here: game on, my place is fine: have furniture and flatware now. Looks like it will be WHFRP

--Gdaze-- Alright time for another gay post. But! I've been thinking about this for awhile. While our character unity has totally fallen apart in Gimmni I got to thinking... "I wonder what Justin's character would have done." Then I realized that all of your characters Justin have been interesting to watch. Not saying I don't enjoy any of the other characters, I do, but Justin's always end up being so interesting! And of all the characters we've ever made the one I like the most was Ethan because I thought you brought a lot to it. Anyone else have a fav character controlled by someone else? Sound off then! On a side note, my 2nd favorite was Hassen. Now, no naming your own!

On another note, i was thinking last night that i like a bit more combat than we do, I liked the Hero style combat and kind of miss that. I guess it's cause we have been doing all gemini, where combat is essentially forbidden because of it's lethality. too bad that exemplars looks like it's not going to happen in our group.
--Gdaze 14:28, 28 August 2007 (MST) Matt your last sentance bothers me because I can't make head or tails of it. I had forgotten Raphe did that... my highlight for that whole game was us raiding the church... with highly illegal weapons...
Actually I enjoy combat quite a bit too. The hero system is nice, but not for when lots of people are involved. Even worse if range is involed because you have to keep track of range mods... or maybe it is because I don't play it enough.
I don't think it has to do entirely with just that combat is lethal in Geimmni but also that really we rarely have a reason to even fight. Except when we are lowering people into a dark forest full of ancient berserkers.
