--Edmiao 14:50, 19 July 2008 (MST) Jason, mind if i copy a few pages out of ultimate skill sometime? i just want the like 7 pages on ultimate scientist, but couldn't justify buying the book for just that table.
JASON: Depends on what you mean by copy. I dont want that book put on a copy machine (it breaks the binding), but if you just want to look at it and write down what you need, thats fine.
Gabe: Just for others who don't know. They have a fifth edition, and a fifth edition revised at the Half Price Books in Crossroads. The revised one is only 20 bucks.

Our washer is broken, so one possible ruse would be if I could do laundry at the BnD spot while we played. But I do not promise that I could execute such a plan.

I been finishing off organizing my cards and would like to tweek my pestalence and draw deck... but we have Friday to play too. I couldn't play too long on Thursday, gotta work on the adventure, of course, plus got some other things going on.

shindig on aug 30/31
JASON: Also, I will be having a massive shindig for mine and Rumi's birthdays on either August 30th or 31st. I would like to see as many of you jokers as possible attend. Mark it on your calendar. I am planning on renting a venue so we have plenty of space for games, Rock Band, and partying. Does anyone know of a centrally located, reasonably priced, venue?
GABE: I'd like to come, I'm trying to be more social. A central and big location for partying thats cheap? *insert your mom comment*
KIM: Oooh, I'll be back in town then, might have a job that weekend, but will try to keep it during reasonable hours so that I can show up and commandeer the potato chip bowl... *nom nom nom*

The only venue I could think of that's sorta' central and maybe reasonably priced is an educational building. Gym of a high school, community college, Seattle U., etc.

JASON: Yes, I can email him. He is kind of being a jerk about meeting though, he is refusing to leave Kirkland and I dont know if its really worth it to drive out there for cards at these prices (good, but not great). If you want some stuff, then it probably becomes more worth it to make a deal.

BEN: turns out the eventide tournament is SATURDAY at 1:30 PM. Glad I got that sorted out. I'll probably end up going to that. I also, against my better judgment, played in a shadowmoor/shadowmoor/eventide draft tonight. Made some errors in drafting, made some errors in play, but went 3-2, each match best 2 of 3, so I'm happy. I played mono-red, so I've got a couple of nasty cards in red/blue, red/green, and red/white.

--Edmiao 16:27, 21 July 2008 (MST) OAAAA seems to be accelerating. i am fine with either. I will likely continue to have several absences or tardies over the next several months with visitors and surgeries and such (cheryl's surgery probably august 14th), so i defer to others on the decision, and would anyway since i'm fine with either.
--Edmiao 18:41, 21 July 2008 (MST) thought about this more on way home. i think that, gabe, if you have some interesting plots brewing or have directions you would like to see the game go, then we should continue. if you are scratching your head, or if you are more interestedin OAAAA, then we should switch. so i defer to gabe, not the other players.
