Orentes comes from [Glaucus] in the Castor system. His first remembered taste was of grease and machine oil. As a child he seemed to have a taste for them over food, always putting mechanical pieces in his mouth. He's more hygenic these days, but he refuses to use new tech purchased off the shelf from a store. They don't "taste right", as he says. He was brought in by Samuel (Priest, Jack of All Trades) and sheltered there. He learned a lot of what he knows from Samuel. Once he was able to run around on his own, Orentes quickly found work as a grease-monkey for ships stopping in at Glaucus. He later met (The Hacker, Salo's character) and helped her out when she showed up on the run. They started a business together but were forced to run again when "The Hacker's" actions attracted some unsavory types. Thanks again to Samuel they made it to Patroclus where they hooked up with The Golden Fleece and have been with it ever since.
