Strengths

Lots of pretty good. Good youth, with upside, but not a lot of breakouts outside of Butler.

Weaknesses

There is little depth. OF is weak, especially CF.

Plan

Go for it and get back to the winning ways of yore.

Pre Season Deals

What follows are all of the deals I have considered seriously. Some have been offered, some have not.

Pick 1

My new plan is to offer Butler and Tejada plus a hot card C. Maybe Rolen too if I cant get anything else done.

Pick 5

I have offered Delmon Young, Jon Garland, Josh Bard, Rafael Betancourt and Trever Miller for it. He tends to like to fill spots, so this makes good sense for him. Well, it doesnt make sense, but its something he would like.

Matt Cain

I continue to speak to Jim and I dont see a Cain deal happening so easily. I would really love if it would, however. He wants to get down to 12 guys, so I am in a pickle.

Jayson Werth

I am trying to get him for Chris Davis. I have no idea what else to offer.

Joe Nathan

I am freakin stumped! I want to get Nathan back, but I dont know how. Dennis is being a douchebag so I dont see this going anywhere.

Jay Bruce

If I cant get Figgins or Werth I will probably offer Rolen and Davis for Bruce and Gordon. Doesnt help me much now, but could lead to either some deals or stacking me up for the future.

Chone Figgins

I think K-Rod and Rolen for Figgins and Homer Bailey is a doable deal. Not awesome, but I can live with it.

This isnt going to happen, so I offered Hafner and Rolen for Figgins and Bailey. I think its a lot, but I also dont think he will do it.

First Round Pick Possibilities

In the first round we have pick 4. I want to try and move up to 1 as well as acquire pick 5.

I think you have to put Beckham on this list. In the PSCB, none of these players were available, except Hanson, but Beckham went first and Hanson third> I like him better than Rasmus and La Porta.

I need a CF really bad, but I thought McCutchen was on a team, but since he is not, thats my guy.
