An order to appear in court, by the Throne! The players are part of a Rogue Trader’s crew. Their ship however was recently involved in a bit of a sensitive matter and now has been ordered to appear in a High Court of Terra. However, due to the way the Imperial Decree was worded, the ship and its Rogue Trader do not need to even start to head towards the court until it takes off from the current planet it is on. Thank the Throne for the adepts on board!

While the Rogue Trader’s family prepares a defense case, the Rogue Trader and his crew are stuck on a fairly recently discovered planet that has yet to be fully explored. At first the planet seemed to be another wilderness frontier… but there are rumors from the small settlement there. And what of those odd surface scans? There may be riches here, and what else is there to do?

This game will be a “sandbox” exploration game set in the Warhammer 40K universe. Due to the limited understanding of technology I think this may work well. Ancient treasure will replace magic items, and there will be plenty of history to uncover.

Planet: Cradle

Imperial Settlement: Front
Population: 3,000
Established: 200 years ago

Oddities: All surface scans mostly return data that makes no sense. But visually the world looks wild. There does seem to be a few old cities jutting out of the jungle.

Although there is a small Imperial settlement, the planet is not owned by any Rogue Trader. The last one disappeared when he went into the jungle himself.

There have been Orc sightings.
