Starbase 27 is the nearest base to The Triangle sector. The CO is Captain Carl Curtis. The starbase is in deep space with no significant nearby celestial bodies, except for a barren rogue asteroid, several miles across, nicknamed "Curtis Island", and Steven's Nebula. The nearest system, Sanghvi, is a system with 8 orbiting bodies. Shirkhar is the only habitable planet in that system.
The starbase has a Vulcan Embassy, as well as an office dedicated for the Vulcan Space Agency.
The Boardwalk, deck 17 section 3, is the bar on Starbase 27.
