It is lighter than the B-type weapon used by the [[Behemoth]]s  In use, it appears to be an "automatic" weapon based on rate of fire.  Whether it can perform sustained automatic fire remains to be seen; at the very least, initial report show that it fired short bursts.  It fires a bright green energy pulse that leaves a noticeable incandescent trail through the air. Reaction with solid matter appears to cause a significant kinetic impact and thermal damage, but not much in the way of penetration.

This weapon has not yet been researched, and its method of activation is at this point unknown.
