Elrin is a little odd.  That's what most say, odd.  And it's not just that sometimes he talks to himself.  It's something about the eyes, or maybe his face.  You just can't put your finger on it, but he's differnt, maybe older than he looks.  Or maybe younger, that erie laugh.  You never notice when he comes into the room unless he wants you to.  He often looks distracted, but those darting eyes seem to absorb everything.  You've seen him kill while laughing and then bow to the corpse.  It was disturbing, even the most hardened thug feels disdain at his victims or has to quash some pity or remorse.  It's not like he's blood thirsty, but in a fight he doesn't hold back and would as soon kill and adversary as eat a sandwich.  At any rate, Ignotus keeps him in line.
