+ | --[[User:Brandon|Brandon]] 11:58, 9 July 2008 (MST) Cool. I know that neither of you have played the system before, but do have any thoughts on what you might want to play? Do any of the characters spark you interest at the moment, or would they if they were tweaked a bit? Also, though there aren't strict classes in Shadowrun (which is one of the things I like about it), there are some general archetypes: Street Samurai (cybered up warriors), Decker (hacker), Rigger (vehicle/machine controller), Mage (intellectual magic-user), Shaman (totem & emotion/instinct based magic-user), Physical Adept (magically enhanced physicality; kind of monk-like), and a lot of things in between. Also, as I mentioned on the page, there are a bunch of choices of meta-humans (non-human races). As you can probably tell, I'm envisioning the guttersnipes as sort of baby versions of the standard archetypes, though I don't want them to fit TOO neatly into these roles. |
