--[[User:Brandon|Brandon]] 10:40, 16 July 2008 (MST) Character sheets are posted as links (to .doc files) in the characters section.  I will also be posting a group sheet, with shared gear, etc. shortly.  It'd be nice if you could take a look at your character sheet some time before Friday, and let me know if you have any questions, or if there is anything that you want to change.

GABE: This sounds fun... I've never played Shadowrun but I like the idea...

--Edmiao 11:45, 9 July 2008 (MST)ditto

--Brandon 11:58, 9 July 2008 (MST) Cool. I know that neither of you have played the system before, but do have any thoughts on what you might want to play? Do any of the characters spark you interest at the moment, or would they if they were tweaked a bit? Also, though there aren't strict classes in Shadowrun (which is one of the things I like about it), there are some general archetypes: Street Samurai (cybered up warriors), Decker (hacker), Rigger (vehicle/machine controller), Mage (intellectual magic-user), Shaman (totem & emotion/instinct based magic-user), Physical Adept (magically enhanced physicality; kind of monk-like), and a lot of things in between. Also, as I mentioned on the page, there are a bunch of choices of meta-humans (non-human races). As you can probably tell, I'm envisioning the guttersnipes as sort of baby versions of the standard archetypes, though I don't want them to fit TOO neatly into these roles.

GABE: Well since I'm not playing that day I don't think I should say haha.

-BEN: I'll play Togo...although I know very little about baseball.

--Brandon 15:44, 9 July 2008 (MST) Sweet. So are people interested enough in the concept, that we should consider this a GO for next Friday? Also, Gabe made me realize that I should pay attention to who's going to be there. No Matt and no Gabe. Ben and Ed seem in. What about Kim? Dieter? Jason? Interested?

--Edmiao 15:45, 9 July 2008 (MST) put me down for reagan. i wanna be a troll.

GABE: I just noticed your "CONS" about the location of their secret base. Brillant. So whats wrong with this place... Um... a pack of ghouls live up stairs.

--Brandon 17:12, 10 July 2008 (MST) Ok, so it looks like we have a full roster of players (though of course I could add more PCs if someone else decides to play). I think that Dieter should play Max and Kim should play Rad, so Dieter=Max, Ed=Reagan, Ben=Togo, and Kim=Rad. Everyone happy with that? I'm totally going to be making characters on the plane to Chi-town tomorrow!

GABE: Be careful, they don't take kindly to those who can read and write in Chi-town. And when they hit, they do MEGA damage.
