System: I'll be using a hacked & homebrewed system based off of the native Fading Suns "Victory Point System" (VPS) and Burning Wheel RPG. I'm aiming for a mostly narrative-style of gameplay with dice-rolling limited to situations with consequences and combat.
Setting: Futuristic dark ages, with a powerful Catholic-style church. Magic (Theurgy), psionics (Psi) and aliens (most humans very xenophobic) do exist.
Comparisons: Dune meets WH40K, Year 1000 in Space.
Requests:
Read up on the setting/factions so you can get comfortable with it. It's a completely unknown setting for most everyone and I don't want to start until people are comfortable enough with it.
