Kai has excelled in every step; his steps are those of a giant.  Now nears his final step.  Now he must kill the killer.  Faceless is the greatest assassin in Uusam; his strikes are legend.  None has seen his face and lived.  It is known: to call upon Faceless, visit the tree of sorrows in the Togon forest (betwee Wa Sin and Togon in Southern Uusam).  Leave a written request and full payment.  The deed will be done, quietly, quickly, unseen.

Kai visits the tree of sorrows and leaves this request for death: "Oh Great Faceless.  The time has come to put and end to the life of a legend.  It is time for the Faceless to die."  What greater challenge in the quest to kill a killer than to assassinate the assassin.  Kai ambushes the faceless at the tree of sorrows and drags the body away; burying him in an unmarked grave, but praying for him as a kindred nonetheless.

Only two steps to go.  First, to take the life of a great man and absorb his majesty.  But who.  Kai contemplates the great men of the age for several days.  He contemplates near the tree of sorrows to provide him with inspiration as it provided the inspiration that guided the hand of Faceless.  After a few days, he sees a drop by a man who strides with the confidence born of exacting military training.  The man leaves a note, and walks away,

The note reads "Emperor Jin the 26th.  Jin Mae Tien of Shin.  Payment:  (fill in a lot of money).  Unlike your normal jobs, for this we ask that you take on pupils whom we will assemble in Beuch on April 15, 803ND.  You may conceal your face as you see fit"  Included is an address.  Now, Emperor Jin certainly qualifies as a great man.....
