+ | --[[User:BenofZongo|BenofZongo]] 11:52, 9 April 2007 (MST)Focus is a rating that tells you how many bonus whatever you get to use at each level of your path. Fortune points are the currency you use in the prologue: whatever you don't spend turns into your storytelling attribute, which you can burn temporarily or permanently for various effects in Game. At a reputation score of 1, players may spend a total between them of up to the focus of the ship (in your case, 3) storytelling points on OTHER players. Ie, if you have 5 storytelling, and Gabe has zero, but you want gabe to reroll his botched piloting roll, you can do that up to 3 times a night. Ordinarily, you may only spend storytelling points on yourself. If your ship gets it's reputation up to 7, tthen you, the crew, would get 3 storytelling points in addition to any storytelling points the players have: essentially, the overall storytelling points "pool" of the group would increase by an amount equal to the ship's focus. These could be spent by anyone with group approval. |
