BEN: as to the worldbreaker potion...we would have to negotiate about this one. In essence, I am ok with it: I consider PC death to be sort of the "ultimate price" and if the players are willing to pay it to have the story go a certain way, then I'm ok with them dominating in a situation where they otherwise shouldn't. But the flip side of that is that it shouldn't be easy to avoid the price. So, for instance, I wouldn't allow power defense to protect you from this effect. Or magical healing to save you (Amor doesn't usually succor those who willingly burn their own spirits in the flames of glory). Anyways, we can talk about it at the next session.
Cure disease: one of the "technicalities" of hag magic is that it can do some "healing like" stuff as well or better than true healers. The critical difference is that only priest healing can cure damage already done by poisons or disease. But hag magic often does a great job of preventing further damage. As hag magic gets better and better (magic in the world of Amora in general is still full of discovery, innovation, and growth), some lines healing priests would prefer remained inviolate are getting fuzzier. The point of all this yakking: You can take a cure disease potion. I'd prefer it be "disease specific" ie, it can't cure any disease (priestly magic is still much better for this sort of thing), and if possible, we should work something in that prevents it from fixing any health problems that are already in place (scars, weak liver, whatever).
Gabe: Cool cool, cure posion would be okay then? Since I can make them I figured I could also fix them. Also is it possible for me to take a potion to cure what is affecting our oath bound? Just asking! Yeah World Breaker is just an idea, I wouldn't be able to make it for so long anyway. I may just start picking up some druid/hag spells. And really I've got almost too many potions now, getting hard to carry them.
BEN: cure poison would be ok, but again, it would only cure upcoming harm, not damage already done. As for the bloodstone poison...there is only one source (or rather three) source for the recipe for the antidote. If you managed to get the recipe, sure you could make an antidote for that as well.
Gabe: Man, and we went with the dragon? I will choose NOT to have Fantus share that information with the rest of the party. Wow, people actually listened to one of my insane ideas and we didn't resisit an arrest, what is going on???
