BEN: as an aside from this fascinating conversation: I certainly don't KNOW this, but I am definitely getting the vibe from my new roommate that he may be gay.  The only reason I mention this is that, if he is, some of our jokes at the gaming table may not be construed as humor but rather as cruelly homophobic.  So, for now, please refrain from that stuff during game time.  As a replacement standard, inappropriate perjorative, matt has suggested "honky".  I fully support this idea.

Was highly recommended by a panel at PAX and I'm liking what I'm reading so far. So far I'm getting a "Dogs in the Vineyard" feel for it, but with a Cyberpunk-style system backing it up. Should I continue liking it all the way through the GM's and Player's guides, I will run a one-shot. Of some kind.
