The beloved emperor lies slain on the floor of the senate house. Whether the act was savage murder or patriotic bravery will be determined only by posterity; in the meantime, it falls to those on each side to lay their plans as to how to use this fleeting moment of History.
In a villa some distance removed from Roma, Marcus, Octavianus, and Lepidus, meet to discuss the rapidly congealing reports of a great army being raised by the assassins of the emperor, Bruttus and Cassius. Tensions are high: Until only recently all three were at war with one another over control of the lands, and it is only the threat of another, more unified foe that brings them to this meeting.
Now, on neutral ground, they must either come to terms about how to face the coming threat...or at least advance their own position in the hopes of being the last man standing when the dust finally settles.

Dramatis Personae:

Marcus: a veteran commander, crass but brutally cunning. Ed

Gaius: Marcus' guard. Cheryl

Octavianus: a young and untried commander, brilliant and political. Matt

Agrippa: Octavianus' advisor and guard. Chris

Lepidus: a wealthy political player. Jason

Trimalchio: Lepidus' guard. Rumi

Tullius: A lawyer and senator, considered a neutral party to arbitrate and oversee the meeting. Dieter

Peregrinus: A priest, sent to bless the meeting and take the auspices. Gabe

Pela: a soldier, in charge of the guard of the house during the meeting. Brandon
