--Matts 09:08, 21 June 2007 (MST)Well, you could lead like 5 marines, and get 5x2d8 Thing dice for them, or if you wanted to take Terminator armor and up your power armor's dice to like 2d10 you could do that too.  Or, if you wanted to be Badass McGee in Delta Squad, you could take extra dice for your badassery in lieu of dice for Marines that work under you.  We can determine the exact composition of the force once everyone's preferred concept is up.

At first I thought that was really funny...until I realized you might be seriousIf gabe gets to play a dreadnaught, I want to play a tiger-bot.

There are mechanical implications to the choices, and I'd prefer it if people stuck to being Marines or attached characters, but if someone (gabe) really wants to play a terminator or Dreadnought, it's mechanically possible, and I'd like to invite them to do it.

--Gdaze 11:19, 21 June 2007 (MST) Wait so at first you said no Terminators, now up there you say we can play a Terminator, then you say you would prefer we don't play a Terminator?  I mean if you want us to all be standard Space Marines just say so!  Heh heh, but yeah, so I can play a Terminator or a Dreadnought eh... I wouldn't mind being a Dreadnought, might be fun to playPlus I'd have like old knowledge and stuff... or would I have to buy that?  I don't even know how this system works.  I mostly just want to play a Terminator so I can use lightening claws.

--Matts 12:16, 14 June 2007 (MST)You won't get any extra dice for being a dreadnought, in fact, you'd probably wind up with less dice since you wouldn't have as many ThingsFurthermore, I'm not sure the game would really be interesting for a dreadnought; there should be more going on than just fighting, and Dreadnoughts generally aren't brought out except during battles or consultation.
