The critical difference is that only priest healing can cure damage already done by poisons or disease. But hag magic often does a great job of preventing further damage. As hag magic gets better and better (magic in the world of Amora in general is still full of discovery, innovation, and growth), some lines healing priests would prefer remained inviolate are getting fuzzier. The point of all this yakking: You can take a cure disease potion. I'd prefer it be "disease specific" ie, it can't cure any disease (priestly magic is still much better for this sort of thing), and if possible, we should work something in that prevents it from fixing any health problems that are already in place (scars, weak liver, whatever). |
