This page is for use in keeping notes about my PSBL simulation baseball league team. Rather than setting up another wiki, I figured this was a better way to do it.

Cuts
Some of the following players may be worth grabbing again, so I am including them here. They also might make nice trade bait.
C Kenji Johjima
OF Franklin Gutierrez
P Salomon Torres
P Ryan Speier
P Chad Durbin
I have cleaned up this page and moved all the old information to PSBL Archive.
Strengths
The starting pitchers are pretty good, but injury prone. The middle of the lineup is formidable.
Weaknesses
There is no depth anywhere. Hafner having such a poor season really hurts. There is no youth at all.
Plan
Pre Season Deals
What follows are all of the deals I have considered seriously. Some have been offered, some have not.
Miguel Tejada
I have spoken to Dave about Tejada. He has Ryan Theriot and Cesar Izturis at SS, so he doesnt need Tejada. He has also spoken previously about trading him. My offer was Gutierrez, Franklin, Speier, Torres, and Durbin. Those guys are all cuts anyway.
He has responded that he is intrigued, but needs to look at it tonight. I find this deal to be quite likely. If it happens, Cabrera becomes extra.
Orlando Cabrera
I have spoken to two teams about Cabrera. One is Milwaukee. He likes him a lot, so it is certainly possible. No specifics are yet on the table. I would like to trade Cabrera and something for Jermaine Dye. If this happens, Dye can be dealt to Cleveland for something good. Another possibility is after the protected lists are in Cabrera could be sent to Milwaukee for his 2nd rounder.
The other possibility is the Cubs. I have offered Cabrera and the 1st round pick (#22) for his 1st rounder (#7). This would be nice.
I just had a new idea. I am going to contact Florida and see if he would be interested in Cabrera and Maddux for Phil Hughes.
