Trevor Kamastafall is the eldest son of AJ Kamastafall and Naomi Agincourt. He is 11 years old, and idolizes his father. He does well in school, and is athletic for his age. Trevor is well-behaved, and takes to heart many of the lessons his mom and dad try to teach him. All in all, AJ lucked out in that his first kid has thus far made the parenting experience pretty easy on he and his wife, especially considering Trevor does a pretty good job in the role of big brother by helping to look after and take care of his younger sisters.
His family has been forced to move around quite a bit because of his parents' military careers. Also, it has been hard for Trevor to form lasting bonds with any boys his age because, living on or near military bases, many of the kids he knows are in the same boat as him, and any school chums are prone to move when their folks get a new posting. To this end, family is most important to Trevor, and he won't let anyone get in the way of that. His father has recently ended his active duty and gone into the reserves, which comes with the promise of having his dad around more often. Trevor looks forward to this possibility, but admits he is still getting used to the notion.
Trevor can sometimes be distrusting and suspicious of outsiders, possibly because of exposure to racism in the past.
Unlike most boys his age, he doesn't like watching television or movies and prefers to read instead, so the deprivations of the Sweeps have largely been lost on him.
