-The time for discussion is over.  Action must soon be taken, and you can count on events conspiring that will make a clear decision soooo much easier to choose.  You can count on some action, probably some 'splosions, and dice-rollin'!  Maybe even a cliff-hanger or something!
-The group has tentatively planned to assault the base being constructed by the aliens in Brazil.  This will hopefully allow them to capture or destroy the hyperwave beacon, the device that will allow the capital ships of the Collective invasion fleet to drop out of FTL near Earth.  Without the hyperwave beacon, the larger ships might be lost in space for weeks or months!  To get to Brazil, the team is contemplating busting out the Firestorm, and giving the aliens a taste of their own medicine.
