In Jin, I tried to address two problems that I have seen in other games, and probably overshot the mark on both accounts.  First, there has often been team disunity and providing a mission seemed a good hook (granted one of the team left the team, but he was sort of meant to do that).  Second, often in our games there are various puzzles or things that the characters want to figure out.  It seems that invariably, the game runs for a year or so and then ends and the characters only scratch the surface of the unknowns.  Some of the most memorable sessions are the ones where we actually figure something out.  Granted, the GM should never spill the beans too early; however, let the beans be spilled eventually.  Thus, if you have any curiosity as to what is going on in the world of the 6 kingdoms, you may expect that answers will be accessable in the final two sessions.  This obviously leads to a very short game, but i hope y'all enjoy it.

My GM Manifesto
