In school she majored in political science, and is a cultural and diplomatic specialist.
Her service record was been good, but even though she is tall, her fitness reports have suffered because of her weight. She spent a lot of her off time in conditioning programs, and played tennis with CMC Spencer Harlock.

She was diagnosed with Cushing's Syndrome, a tumor on the pituitary gland, at the beginning of Dark Lighthouse.
