Finding himself in a desperate situation, he sired [[Lucas Brandt]] because he liked his band and his outgoing personality, but was required to distance himself from him while [[Sarah Cobbler]] performed her experiment. This weighed heavily on his mind, but he busied himself with his internet business until he was located by Lucas and friends, and was thoroughly shamed for what he had done. Since then he has made efforts to reach out to Lucas, but they have been awkward.
