This page is for discussion of stuff related to the game coming up this week, no matter when that actually is. For instance, we can all assume Nate isnt coming for some lame reason and that Ed is sick of pizza and is bringing teriyaki or some other crap. They can post something here if that happens to be untrue.

Attendance and Food Preference

--Brandon 23:37, 3 July 2008 (MST) Hey, it looks like there is a very good chance that I will be able to game on the 18th. Indeed, if no one else had thoughts, I might be able to run a one-shot (possibly Shadowrun). Or, Dieter could run his game . . .

BEN: Brandon is good to run shadowrun, Dieter has offered to run a one shot fading suns, and Jason has offered to run a playtest of dragonquest. I'm happy to do any of those things...I'm just glad we're actually getting together on the 18th.

--Dieter the Bold 13:51, 6 July 2008 (MST) I'd prefer to run in someone else's game. I could run a one-shot if everything else fell through, but I'd prefer someone else do it.

--Edmiao 08:41, 7 July 2008 (MST) i am still in the pondering stages of the angel of death game. i think it is coming to life in my head but probably won't be completely fleshed out for debut on the 18th.

--Brandon 10:34, 8 July 2008 (MST) EDIT: I thought this might be best up here. Check out my thoughts about the basic concept of the Shadowrun one-shot at: Guttersnipes!.

GABE: So Matt and Brandon are gone, is everyone else pretty sure they will be game for Friday? Also, magic at six?

Other RPG or Non-RPG gaming Events

Monthly Board Gaming Day

Dark Knight I've just purchased tickets for myself and kim for SATURDAY, JULY 19th at 9 PM at the seattle IMAX. Anyone else who wants to come see THE superhero movie with us on THE big screen, feel free.

KIM: My friends are NOT coming up from Portland, therefore we now have two spare pre-paid tickets to IMAX... who wants them?

JASON: I got tickets for the midnight opening at the Cinerama. I am also considering hitting the IMAX with you guys.

--Brandon 23:25, 7 July 2008 (MST) Ben, sorry that I didn't come by; time got away from me and it was past 9:30 before I knew it. I'd like to come by at some point this week to pick up the Shadowrun book. Let me know a good day/time to come by, and if some faeries get into a fight with some elves while I'm there, so be it. I'm getting kind of excited about the prospect of running a one-shot, so I should have the book around.

JASON: The Tukwila Half Price Books has a ton of books for Shadowrun, both editions.

JASON: Also, I will be having a massive shindig for mine and Rumi's birthdays on either August 30th or 31st. I would like to see as many of you jokers as possible attend. Mark it on your calendar. I am planning on renting a venue so we have plenty of space for games, Rock Band, and partying. Does anyone know of a centrally located, reasonably priced, venue?

GABE: I'd like to come, I'm trying to be more social. A central and big location for partying thats cheap? *insert your mom comment*

KIM: Oooh, I'll be back in town then, might have a job that weekend, but will try to keep it during reasonable hours so that I can show up and commandeer the potato chip bowl... *nom nom nom*

Weekly Magic Whining/Complaining/Smack Talking

--Matts 10:45, 2 July 2008 (MST)In progress: [1]

--Gdaze 00:17, 7 July 2008 (MST) Good magic today! My green/blue deck held its own but most of the matchs went to the Ferry deck! Oh also I'm not suppose to tell Matt I have that 7 mana scarecorw that can move -1/-1 tokens off of it for free.

--Brandon 09:11, 7 July 2008 (MST) Oh noes! You let the Grim Poppet out of the bag! Also, you shouldn't feel bad about the dominance of the ferry deck. Those Staten Island and Port Angeles cards are really frustratingly annoying.

JASON: There is a Port Angeles ferry? I have used the Mukilteo/Clinton card to make a ridiculous Whidbey Island deck. It always seems to remind me of The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.

--Brandon 15:38, 9 July 2008 (MST) Yeah, I remember when you won that one game by blowing up your own building. Classic! Speaking of which, Jason, are you interested in joining in on the one-shot next Friday?

The Next Step in Werewolf

Werewolf Recap

There will be blood.

Next step in Super Heroes

--Edmiao 08:50, 1 July 2008 (MST)so what did i miss?

BEN: we battled the juice for a bank and the juice's reputation, then we battled silver skinned dudes for hostages at the museum of natural history, then we battled a giant demon for hot girls about to be sacrificed to an artifact, then we battled Cortez, who possessed Brim and sent ancient Aztec spirits to kick our asses and flew off in a giant steampunk ship in Brim's body. You know, the usual.

GABE: We were a little busy that day.

--Brandon 16:52, 2 July 2008 (MST) Don't forget that we became acquainted with a mysterious individual who seems to be able to (1) call you wherever you are and (2) possess an entire platoon of Roombas. Be afraid, be very afraid.

--Dieter the Bold 18:27, 2 July 2008 (MST) Especially considering who makes the Roomba

--Gdaze 20:02, 2 July 2008 (MST) Gawd help us!

--Gdaze 00:19, 7 July 2008 (MST) Are we gonna run supers that week everyone is gone, or rather are you Matt? I mean Dieter is only KINDA playing, it leaves only me and Ed for most of it.

--Edmiao 08:39, 7 July 2008 (MST)did deiters computer dude get into the story last time? this next session could be a deiter-centric prequil to introduce the character

Ben: Matt is gone until the 25th of July, so when is the next session of supers scheduled?

--Gdaze -- I was guessing August 1st?

MATT: August 1, yes. We'll run supers. Brandon not being there works out well for the particular story, and Ben not being there just means there will be some close shaves! We can certainly work in a Teletraan-7 prequel if desired.

--Dieter the Bold 16:33, 7 July 2008 (MST) Not so interested in a prequel for Teletraan-7. If people would like to establish something I'm fine with simply talking it out and saying "This is now so".

--Brandon 17:51, 7 July 2008 (MST) Also, Ed, I should've been more clear that the mysterious, Roomba possessor mentioned above was, in fact, Teletraan-7, so he's been introduced, albeit mysteriously.

--Edmiao 18:15, 7 July 2008 (MST) ahh! bueno. what is a roomba?

--Matts 08:50, 8 July 2008 (MST)IRobot Website
