Attendance and Food Preference

Matts I'd just like to say that was a hell of a session. I'd like to also point out for the sake of future group survival, that while we kicked a bunch of ass, I also hit stomach, vitals, or head on like 7 out of 10 hits in the session, so it may not be a statistically representative sample.

Wait, no. I meant to say that we whooped the shit out of Sir SISSY, etc, etc. And since I won't be there next session, Aetan only wants to do one thing - defenestrate Arcus. Please allow me this one lagged-out action, or keep that son of a bitch on ice until I'm around!

--Brandon 17:36, 3 March 2009 (MST) W00T on Ben's successful dissertation defense. It was under, like, major attack, and he totally defended those ion channels from ROS/RNS takeover. Or something.

--Brandon 18:00, 5 March 2009 (MST)I'm sorry to say it, but I've come to the conclusion that I need to transition into dissertation lockdown mode, at least until I hit the job market this Fall. So, I think that this Friday is going to be my last regular gaming session. I'll still plan on stopping in when I can, and will always try to keep an active NPC handy, but I can no longer commit to being a consistent player. Boo hiss, and all of that.

Gabe: Heroclix, heroclix!!! But yeah, that sucks.

BEN: yes, that is a bummer. Good luck on your dissertation. We'll try to make this session really shine, I guess, so you go out with a bang.

--Dieter the Bold 13:14, 3 March 2009 (MST) So, tickets are a ricockulous $25 ($5 "service charge" and $1 "facilities fee"). Frakking Ticketmaster. I'm looking to see if I can buy tickets directly at the box office or some other way. This is highway robbery.

GABE: Wow... yeah, I don't think we want to see them "THAT" bad... Think I might rather see a movie or something... thats like four or five packs of magic cards! Or box set of Runebound with an expansion deck!

Weekly Magic Whining/Complaining/Smack Talking

So I bought my 3rd pack of conflux, as my first was okay, 2nd was disappointing, figured 3rd time is a charm. So this is a small set, thats appartent with how many doubles I already have. I got two cards I think are pretty cool, Scattershot Archer, a 1/2 elf for one green that can tap to hurt all flyers? Wowz.

And my rare this time was actually cool, Rakka Mar.

Current OAAAA XP: 75 base + 184 XP

GABE: Are there still active point limitations on spells/potions?

Edmiao wasn't it 10 active points per session? if so, then 184xp/15xp per session = 12 sessions thus 120 active point powers permitted.

GABE: Huh... that isn't very much, and I thought that was 10 active points for magic weapons, as in we can invest that much in the weapon each time. Powers too?

Edmiao not sure about the formula above. i never paid much attention to the limits since my powers are so far under the limits.

BEN: 10 points is for powers, generally...some higher cost stuff will be approved and some lower cost Stuff won't. Equipment ,s 5 poirts per session and is NOT retroactive

GABE: I would like to request this limit be taken off for powers. At the current power level, having this limit means I need to spend points where I don't want or need them. I realize characters will become really powerful (already are really) but I dunno, just some ideas. Or maybe make it 15 or 20 points? If not though, thats fine too.

Nevermind, saw that some stuff will be approved, thats cool then.
