In the time of Sigmar Heldenhammer even the cities were not so safe as today. Sigmar himself achieved his greatness partially by eradicating evil where he could find it. Once, one of the Empires greatest cities (which one is lost to antiquity) was under the influence of a great Necromancer and it took Sigmar and his entire army to vanquish him. Though when the chaos moon shines, he can be heard in the back alleys calling for servants. And his tomb is buried under there to this day.

There be a stick, substance if you will, that is prized by those vile rats called Skaven. Some say it will mutate ya, some say it turns metals to gold. All say its dangerous...and valuable. Wyrdstone it be.

The dwarfs forged 4 Doomstones hundreds of years ago and two of them are lost to history. Well, at least two of them. What do they do? I have no idea, they only talk about them in hushes!

It is said that during the wars to halt the chaotic incursion many great nobles who were killed in the fighting were buried with their equipment intact, including a great many pieces of fantastic jewelry and magical weapons. The mountains of the north are riddled with hidden tombs of honored nobility from these conflicts. These include the great grandfather of Baron Heiligbach, who it is said carried a Dawntstone dagger. Some claim the spirits guard them; others dismiss this as wives tales.

The baron? A good enough guy I suppose. If you dont mind the haunted.

I heard tales of a dwarven runner lost in the Yetzin valley. His message was vitally important, but never delivered.
