This page is for discussion of stuff related to the game coming up this week, no matter when that actually is. For instance, we can all assume Nate isnt coming for some lame reason and that Ed is sick of pizza and is bringing teriyaki or some other crap. They can post something here if that happens to be untrue.

--Dieter the Bold 07:15, 25 January 2007 (MST) I'll be there. But the question is, where should I be? I'm also interested in pizza.
--Edmiao 11:26, 25 January 2007 (MST) I'm in. I'll do pizza as well

--BenofZongo 00:33, 16 January 2007 (MST)Against my better judgement, I am preparing, by popular demand, a "horror" one shot for the Saturday before my Bday (Feb 10th). The title of the one-shot is "The House of Usher". Somewhere in Northeastern Hungary, October, 1945. Characters will be pregen, and the system we will be using is Cyberpunk.

--Matts 22:27, 19 November 2006 (MST)Cleared out old discussion. I'm going to do a few things from now on, I hope: I'll put links to new material I've made that is especially relevant to the current section.
For these pages, if only the player involved wouild read it, that'd be great, cause that means less drop pods. Also, if you guys could put your motivations and thoughts about your characters on these pages, that'd be great.
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE GM: whether you like it or not (i mean, hopefully you like it), the storyline is moving in the direction of intrigue, plots, and large-scale events. That's all fine and dandy, but the intrigues I've set up and the macro-scale activity happening 'behind the scenes' doesn't mean anything if those events don't have a reflection in the players.
Which is to say, unless the players have a personal stake in large-scale events (even including being avowedly against being involved in them), those events won't mean anything.
So, if you could take a moment, and put on your secret page what's 'at stake' for your character, then I'd be greatly obliged. I'm not asking for general motivations, but an answer to this question: "What does the Empire mean to you?" The answer can be as specific as "von Teumar" or "my brother Billy", or as general as "Power", or even "Nothing". But if the Empire doesn't mean anything to your character, then the direction the plot is going to move won't really have a lot of resonance, so we should figure that out now.

--Edmiao 10:07, 19 December 2006 (MST) if you guys want those night vision goggles and climbing gear back you might want to check the bandit camp again in the morning.
ben here. Just some quick notes. First off, I know the players on friday were a bit railroaded into meeting the first group of alts...sorry about that, but getting new characters into the story ain't always easy. Anyways, just because I forced the introduction, doesn't mean that the new characters and the old characters have to work together at all. I think that there are some mutual interests and some possibilities for assistance to be exchanged, but don't feel like you HAVE to stick together in any way just cause I introduced them. This, likewise, goes for the second group of alts. Also, I apologize that things were again a bit scattered, this time due largely to problems with the power outage and some of our missing players. I understand that this was due to circumstance, so hopefully things will get underway properly next session.
--Edmiao 10:10, 19 December 2006 (MST)I don't think we were railroaded, actually i think we almost missed the introduction. On retrospect, it was a rather stupid idea for Grant and Shennong to go out of the valley alone. they should have returned to look for Sarah elsewhere, maybe Falls. and then should have been better prepared for leaving the valley with healing herbs and such prepared.
--Dieter the Bold 20:12, 2 January 2007 (MST) Grant votes going back to Edgewood, and would like to have passed out after the fighting died down from the PolyCell-V. This way he can wake up with a little more centered perspective on the new arrivals. He'd be much more amenable to being friendly and helping them into the valley in return for further aid.
