Bored at work
I'd rather be bored at work--Dieter the Bold 20:58, 4 April 2007 (MST), like it's a chore than gored at work by a wild boar
I'd rather be twiddling my thumbs in ennui than stabbed to death by republicans "freedom isn't free"
Honestly, I supoose it's a good way The mind rots while we collect our pay
It's just, I'd like a bentley or something if I'm gonna be this goddamn bored
--BenofZongo 17:23, 20 March 2007 (MST)Seriously...except I'm not bored, I'm just sick of the shit I have to do right now.
--Dieter the Bold 18:38, 20 March 2007 (MST) Fun for work: 1 and 2
--Gdaze-- I'm tired... and my fucking gums are infected and I have to have my fucking wisdom teeth removed, and I want to sleep. Do any of you see how long you can have your dick outta your fly while your at work?
--Edmiao 14:23, 22 March 2007 (MST) my record is 25 minutes before i got nervous and had to zip it up. Have you ever been caught? and what's your record?
--Matts 02:37, 24 March 2007 (MST)Oh, Messieur
--Gdaze 16:22, 26 March 2007 (MST)Hahaha, check out this, I know our group would LOVE it! http://www.amazon.com/Worlds-Largest-Dungeon-Alderac-Entertainment/dp/1594720290/ref=pd_bbs_1/103-9177017-5232603?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174950620&sr=8-1
--Gdaze 14:16, 2 April 2007 (MST) So like... none of us have any work to do? Haha, I don't due to us moving to a new system.
--BenofZongo 14:18, 2 April 2007 (MST)I seem to have closed the door to my incubator wrong, so that the ~160 million cells I was going to use for an experiment today are all dead. all of them. So now all I can do is work on a grant. I could scream.
--Jason 14:25, 2 April 2007 (MST)I have to try and figure out how to tell one of the programmers that he sprays way too much air freshener when he leaves the bathroom and its bothering everyone. What makes this so difficult is not only have I already talked to him about it once before, but the customer service girls put a note on the bottle that says 'please only spray me one time'. I dont understand what else to do. So Ill take your grantwriting any day of the week!
--Gdaze 14:36, 2 April 2007 (MST) HAHAHA! Like what is he trying to hide? Clearly his shit stinks. Mwuhahaha. I say you use a pressance attack on his ass.
--Jason 14:47, 2 April 2007 (MST)I only have a 13 PRE, I dont think 2 1/2 D6 will accomplish much. I need an excellent soliloquy so I can get some bonus dice.
--Matts 15:31, 2 April 2007 (MST)Comrade Stinkus, I prithee, lend me thine ear for but a moment.
I have a vision of a world, and I must bring to your mind a piece of it.
This world, this Fantasy, is dominated by air fresh as how God himself made it; free of additives or preservatives, it carries upon it eddies of circumstance, the pure drama of the unexpected. In its myriad progressions, we may see unfold designs of intentions not our own, and admire these things in nature, these fragile crystals of time untouched by the cruel hand of Man.
I have now a revelation to share with you: this world is indeed our world, but one may only catch it in small glimpses: the snow atop a deserted mountain, or the relentlessness of the waves against a sandy beach, or the graceful whorl of air following water as a toilet is flushed. However, we foolish mortals know not that with our every action we shatter this beauty, we befoul the innumerate mysterious mathematics that inform beauty. But one spray of air fresheners pollutes this volatile equation, introduces inequalities such that feeble natural mechanisms are incapable of compensation. In place of a delicate snowflake of natural odor, we put a gigantic concrete-and-steel skyscraper of artifice, of odor *elimination*, leaving behind only the trampled flat remains of what took an eternity to build.
Comrade, with but a little moderation, this hideous fate could be reversed.
--Jason 15:32, 2 April 2007 (MST)I must submit to your genius, yet again.
--Edmiao 18:30, 2 April 2007 (MST) Quoth the Bard "whoa"
--Dieter the Bold 20:58, 4 April 2007 (MST) For my Firefly peeps. My favorite is the shopping list.

--Dieter the Bold 19:03, 24 April 2007 (MST) The robots at work
--Gdaze 12:11, 25 April 2007 (MST) I can't believe it is only Wednesday... I keep hoping and thinking tomorrow is Friday...
--Edmiao 14:34, 25 April 2007 (MST) ditto
--Jason 14:45, 25 April 2007 (MST)I say we advocate the 1 day work week.
--Edmiao 15:08, 25 April 2007 (MST) Second. All in favor say "Aye"
[1] Look at the will farrell sketch entitled "the landlord". hilarious.
--Justin 16:37, 29 April 2007 (MST) Was recently bored at work. Now am bored at home. How are y'all peoples doin'? I am hoping to come visit sometime in June when things slow down here. Is everyone well? Jason, did I hear correctly that you have moved? Anything else new and exciting? How about old and boring? (besides Gabe's mom.) I am going to be running a WHFRP game in about a month and I might need some background help and/or a sounding board for ideas so I will be writing more soon. Later pukes.
--Dieter the Bold 17:06, 29 April 2007 (MST) It's Justin, yay!! So, I have to issue warnings about this: If you fear spiders, do not watch this clip. If you similarly fear robots, please don't watch this. This goes double if you fear robot-spiders
Ben here: Justin! Come join our space opera game! It has a volcano! And Space Vikings! That fight space nazis! I'd love to chat about background for a fantasy game. Nothing new and exciting here, but I'm doing well.
--Jason 11:47, 30 April 2007 (MST)Nope, I havent moved. Im not gaming anymore though. I might start again later, but am still as yet undecided. Are you sick of Spokane yet? Im sick of it and Ive never even been there.
--Edmiao 12:59, 30 April 2007 (MST) Good to hear from you Justin! now get your ass back here.
--67.40.199.102 09:18, 1 May 2007 (MST) justin and jason: news flash. Deiter the Bold is now Deiter the Bald of Chin. (ie shaved his beard off). it really messed up our last session because everyone kept staring at him in disbelief
--Jason 11:55, 1 May 2007 (MST)Did he get a job or something? What a sellout.
--Matts 13:33, 1 May 2007 (MST)No, no, it's just that your mom's beard trimmer worked as advertised!
--Matts 10:03, 4 May 2007 (MST)Speaking of beards, go look at Baron Davis' beard! That thing had power! Warriors OMG
--Dieter the Bold 19:43, 16 May 2007 (MST) Some days this is my general feeling
--Dieter the Bold 15:54, 22 May 2007 (MST) A couple fun links: the real rumble in the jungle (it's not over when you think it is, ~15 minutes, but the first 10 are so worth it). and church music which makes me feel quite safe and satisfied in my decision to be an atheist.
--Gdaze 11:44, 24 May 2007 (MST) Dear lord... I am so fucking bored... the only thing getting me through this week is knowing there is gaming tomorrow and a 3 day weekend. I need to see if I can install hero creator on this machine without the IT department finding out.
--Jason 11:53, 24 May 2007 (MST)Hero creator is a java app and doesnt need to be installed. You should be able to copy it from the cd, or even run it from the cd.
--Gdaze 15:21, 24 May 2007 (MST) Oh right... Then maybe that is just what I'll do! At least that way I can do something besides staring at news sites all day and beating off cause both of Matt's mom's arms are broken due to me riding like a bobsled down the stairs.
--Dieter the Bold 23:03, 3 June 2007 (MST) A cat far too intelligent for its own good.

Read the "reviews" of this tank offered on Amazon. The last one almost had me falling out of my seat.
--Justin 11:49, 18 June 2007 (MST) Howdy boyz! How's life? Sorry about not staying in touch recently. Been pretty busy with work and shit. So, I am starting up a WHFRP game after the Fourth. 9 players...yes, I said 9 players. It actually started out as 7 but two significant others wanted to play as well. Oh, well. It will be interesting. We are playing the system and universe as it is in the books with only a few minor adjustments to the rules (a few of the combat rules need some tweeking). Being an easy system to play I think 9 players might work out alright.
--Justin 12:00, 18 June 2007 (MST) I might be hitting some of you up for information and ideas soon. This game is going to see them all accepting a job by a very wealthy Marienburg merchant family head to investigate a village that was recently decimated by what seems to be a band of beastmen. The Empire seems to be doing nothing about it. They sent out some investigators to two previous attacks, who said "yep, it was beastmen" and said that the empire would increase patrols, of which they haven't. This wealthy merchant seems to be taking this upon himself to find out what's happening and try to take care of it by hiring mercenaries. And the merry chase begins... I am still trying to work out the villian/s. I can't decide which way I want it to go yet. If anyone has any thoughts on this let me know.
--Justin 12:06, 18 June 2007 (MST) So what's everyone been up to? No one getting married yet? No one's converted to Mormonism or Satanism (one of which can be confused for hte other)? I hope everyone is well and healthy. I am planning to come visit a few times this summer as I do not work on Fridays until school starts up in Sept. I am not sure when yet but probably late July.
Ben: Justin! Good to hear from you! DOn't come in Late July, (I will be gone early august, possibly also the last weekend in July (I can confirm that shortly), cause I want to be around when you visit. No weddings/funerals, unless you count the general common law marriage of most of the group with Gabe's mom. Our space opera game is going, i would say, pretty well, it's been fun to GM and the group is starting to get quite interesting. We've added a new player with many years of whfrp experience, so he may actually be quite a good resource for you. I'm happy to discuss your game with you: what kind of ideas are you looking for? We will probably start some short campaigns of call of cthulhu and a space marine game that will alternate with Gemini, and I think any of those will be very accomodating to you being a guest player. 9 players sounds pretty intense, but you should be able to make it work: just don't expect to get too much done each session.
--Edmiao 17:57, 20 June 2007 (MST) I converted to Mormonism, then became unwell and not healthy, then I converted to Satanism, wed a succubus, and now I am feeling much better. Thanks for askin'.
