Be it Monday, Wednesday or whenever, we pretty much have a board gaming night during the week. If you see this, you are invited. Try and let us know if you can if you arent a regular and you are attending.

Games

5/27 Conquest of the Empire Result: Called after 3 rounds.
6/3 Battlestar Galactica Result: Rumi and DJ win as Cylons.
6/8 Caylus, won by Corey with 95(!) points, BSG won by Corey as the damn treacherous Cylons.
6/15 TBD

Requests

This spot is where you place requests for games you would like to see in the future.

JASON: Some games I would like to play: Dune, Twilight Imperium, A Game of Thrones, Modern Art.
COREY: I would like to try Agricola or Puerto Rico sometime.

--Dieter the Bold 12:16, 6 June 2009 (MST) I'd like some BSG again, A Game of Thrones, A Touch of Evil.

Edmiaoi have heard a lot about this game, but have never played Everybody Beat Up the Jason Bessonette.

Library

Here is where I will list all of my games, and the rest of you can list games you would like to bring and see played.

Rather than make another silly, long list, here is a link to my collection on BGG[1]. Its not 100% complete, but pretty good. Make requests for games to play below.

Other Events

Twilight Imperium was epic as fuck. Nay, epicer than fuck. Given our lack of experience, however, it played relatively well. Now that we all have a full game under our belts I think we could skim the rules again and be pretty much ready to play again.

My suggestions for next game:

One of the following

Start Earlier. Lets make a noon start or something happen. Had we done this, things would have been very different. The biggest problem, of course, is that can only work on a Saturday given our conflicting schedules, and that is only possible when my RPG day is canceled. I have tried getting it moved to Friday to no avail.

Accelerated setup. Something I had considered before was that we should have the universe set up beforehand, except for the placement and choice of home systems. All of the cards should be ready and the objective deck prepared. Then when the players walk in we determine some kind of order (randomly or whatever) and players choose either their race or where they start, then in reverse order choose the one they had not already chosen.

Any or all of these

Rearrange the room for better use of the extra table, possibly even use both extra tables.

Find/print another copy of the rules. We should have 3 at least.

How about remote play? This may or may not work, but I have a copy and so does Dieter. I might be able to get another one that I could sell to David. I dont know if Wolf has one. Maybe we can find some way to set up the same board and play remotely.
