This page is for discussion of stuff related to the game coming up this week, no matter when that actually is. For instance, we can all assume Nate isnt coming for some lame reason and that Ed is sick of pizza and is bringing teriyaki or some other crap. They can post something here if that happens to be untrue.

Schedule
--BenofZongo 22:33, 27 October 2010 (MST)The Vision: A one shot continuing the adventures of the Auspice of the Forge.
The plan: A friday night, from 7-12 or 1, probably at Dieter's place.
The Cast: Anyone who wants in and can swing it. I've talked to Matt about skypeing in for this, and he is excited about the possibility. Should be possible for Brandon and/or Nate too, if we can get enough computers set up.
The Plot: We last left our heroes as Galen and Aetan meet after impossibly long absences from Caminus...
Which of you bitches isn't jizzing in your pants at this prospect?!
Also, on a less labor intensive level, I'd love to do a regular old one shot or another EDH night some time.
Ed. Thanks for making me hange my pants. Totally in, not this week or weekend tho.
--Brandon 14:33, 28 October 2010 (MST) Skyping in is a definite possibility for me!
--BenofZongo 23:28, 3 November 2010 (MST)It won't be the one shot, but Meghan will be out of town 11/12-11/15 (Fri-Mon morning: I was thinking of doing stuff friday night and saturday night) so I figure people should come over for magic, board games, or other one-shoddy-ness. Post your availability and interests here.
--Gdaze 11:07, 4 November 2010 (MST) I'm down for whatever. I believe the 11/12 weekend can work for me for some magic or what not.
Edmiaodefinite possible for 11/12 weekend. Saturday or sunday better for us unless you want to do it at our place.
Magic Talk
Ranting and Raving
--Brandon 21:20, 23 August 2010 (MST) Hey all. I had an idea for a game setting, and am interested to hear what people think about it. I've started to post some of my thoughts on the bAbEl page. Posting on that discussion page is welcome.
--Gdaze 12:20, 8 September 2010 (MST) Hey Ben, do you have my Border Princes book?
Ed. Any stargate fans out there? I met amanda tapping's brother at a conference. He is a scientist but she makes tons more money pretending to be a scientist.
--Dieter the Bold 07:15, 20 October 2010 (MST) Nice, dude! What kind of biology does he study? (I assume he's a biologist since you were both at the same conference)
Edmiao he studies human variation in immune responses. for ben, he studies TLR snps.
Edmiao I have an awesome (u may think dumb) idea for a magic game format. it would erase any comments of "that card is broken". you can use any cards in your deck, but the total cost of the cards (choose an online seller to check costs) cannot exceed a certain amount, say $30, or higher for a higher powered game. You want a planeswalker? fine, but the rest of your deck is gonna be commons. or you could have a deck full of 50 cent cards. this is a very capitalist format, you let the market decide what is fair to play. oh, and when are we gonna play again? i can't do halloween weekend.
--Dieter the Bold 18:19, 21 October 2010 (MST) Just picked up Halo: Reach for Charles (Jason's business partner, also boardgamer & roleplayer), and we're going to get our Halo on this Saturday around 4pm. Arkham Horror will follow around 7pm or so with his wife Deanna joining us. I have declicious Mom-baked chocolate cake that simply has to be shared (seriously, there's too much of it), a large table w/ seating for 6 (7 w/ my desk chair), and a brand-new apartment that I've finally gotten into shape that I'd like to show it off. So, come-one come-all to Dieter's Den for Halo: Reach (I have 3 controllers & can have Charles bring a 4th), Arkham Horror and chocolate cake. Feel free to bring other food or drinks. I have soda and a functioning kitchen w/ cookware.
--Gdaze 13:20, 25 October 2010 (MST) Well, Halloween weekend, as well as the first weekend of November are pretty busy for me. Anytime in the middle of November would work, or even mid-weekday. I have pretty much zero time to do anything with my decks, the new style sounds neat, but not for someone like me who has no internet app phone.
Edmiao sorry we couldn't make it dieter. cheryl loves Arkham horror too, but we were all sick and worn out. hope you had fun! lets plan some Magic for november. Nov 13-14th or 20-21st??
