Pensive Loathing
The Pensive Loathing is a Denoba class merchant vessel. All costs will be worked out here for clarity's sake. As per the Indiana Jones in Space rules page, players are granted 100MCR to purchase a ship.

Structure
A Denoba class ship costs 99.8 MCR before modifications. All cold sleep and low passage space and mass has been converted to cargo area and small boat bay. This is a cost of 10 MCR.
Engines
The FTL engines are in need of annual maintenance. Until this is performed, the engines operate at 14- with Burnout. This is a savings of 8.78 MCR.

Spares
Since the ship is no longer new, the spares are reduced. If a repair needs to be made in the field, there is an 11- Activation roll for the parts to be available. This is a savings of 7.5 MCR
Boat Bay
The ship has one Launch class ships boat. This is a cost of 2.5 MCR.
Other Shipboard Stores
The ship itself has equipment that is part of its complement. This includes food, personal weaponry, planetary vehicles and anything else which may be stored aboard the ship and does not belong to an individual character.

Planetary Vehicles
The ship has one Terran Union APC TL 9 truck (Ground & Air Equipment, page 6). It is environmentally shielded. There are also 3 off road cycles. There are 5 Contragrav 'A' harnesses and 5 Jump Belts as well. Total cost: .5 MCR
Survey Equipment
The ship is equipped with a wide array of advanced survey equipment. This includes 5 Minicomp 7's and plenty of archaeological specialty equipment. Total Cost: 2 MCR
Title
The ship is owned by Preston Welburg. He takes a healthy cut of the profits in exchange for letting the crew use his ship. In general, after a successful mission, about 5-10% of the earnings may be available to be split among the crew for their efforts after paying the patron and doing all necessary maintenance and repairs.
