IRBL Notes
This page is for my Washington Nationals team in the IRBL, a 37 year old league with some weird ass rules and 30 teams. Gotta take the good with the bad I suppose.

Outlook
I think I can win this year. I also think the best team in the league happens to be in my division. Once I have a post draft database I can run some sims and see how things go.
Potential Deals
The following deals are either on the table or being considered.
Chris Carpenter
The Orioles have offered me Chris Carpenter, Kevin Millwood and Dan Meyer for David Price and Johnny Cueto. Its intriguing. I am giving up a heck of a lot, but I get the #2 WHIP guy in MLB, and I already have #1. My starting pitching becomes as good as the Phillies, who are the team to beat. I think if I can get him to include Will Venable, and maybe exchange Bourn for Span it might be a deal to do.
Gordon Beckham
The Marlins have offered Beckham in a 2 for one swap to the league, one player must be an OF. I dont have anyone, except maybe David Murphy. I am thinking if I get Venable I can offer him plus Stewart. The problem is, this detracts from this year quite a bit, though it definitely improves my team for the future. If I could get a different OF for other guys I have its probably still ok.
Gabe Kapler
This is the guy I need for my 5th OF. I am not strong against lefties, and he would help a lot. Either this or Cody Ross, who probably costs more but does a lot more.
