Raphael was an orphan who grew up in the back alleys of Spectrum City on Helios 5, where you have to be smart to survive. Smart enough to get taken in by a group of underground computer hackers. He easily picked up the trade and soon was the best of the group, and the youngest. He was intelligent enough to survive and even thrive, but not wise enough to stay any distance from trouble. His computer hacking skills opened doors (and safes). He later joined Mojo's opperation, where he worked in "vehicular aquisitions" as a driver/piolot. Raphael is impulsive, and his current impulse is to find some adventure, have fun, and maybe get off this stinking planet. Loves to listen to punk rock, which fuels his computer skills (see skills: Hacker Concentration).

Since joining with Anteres Darkai and crew, he has done a lot of hacking. Maybe someday they'll stop treating him like a kid. He traded in his skateboard for a sweet hoverboard, man that thing kicks ass! Notably, he remade the cred stick of the Tangerine Dream: owner of the ship is now some guy named Ralph Swanson!

Raphael was inspired by the character "Edward" from the anime series "Cowboy Beebop". [1]
