Sunday Evening

Watching the Choir was the last place I wanted to be this eve. I much preferred the company of my pet, although she was messy tonight. It would not be appropriate to arrive marred with the taint of blood, however minor. Thus, I missed the concert. I was even later than Genevieve. That cannot happen again too soon. I was looking forward to watching the ministrations of the court, but I seemed to have missed all the fun. I met Sarkozy storming out of the building and just about bowled me over. Upon entering the church, I heard the last of Genevieve’s speech and watched the dialogue between Simeon and Genevieve. I do believe I saw Simeon flush with anger before he followed Sarkozy. The rest of the evening was an exercise of watching how quickly people could leave with due propriety after that. I made all the proper courtesies to the members and visitors, making my exit after a couple hours.

Monday Evening

After satisfying my needs, I brought up the watch lists for the stocks I have been focusing on. Amazing what information can be bought from security guards. I should be able to profit very highly from the bad news of a lawsuit that has been kept quiet by Microsoft’s lawyers.

Not long into my evening I received a call from Simeon. He alluded to problems in Tacoma focused upon the group attempting to discover the murderer. I called Vince and set up a meeting to offer my assistance. We set up a meeting for tomorrow, at a seedy bar in Georgetown. Why not a club with better appetizers? Must we propagate this myth we are lurkers of the shadows? Alas.

Now, time to look to the markets opening in Europe.

Tuesday Evening

The meeting with Vince did not go as well as hoped. I expected resistance. It is our nature. He came alone, wanting answers. Who asked me to aid him? About what? What’s my gain? I was vague as needed. I cannot expect being a covenant brother to guarantee blind acceptance. But I cannot lend my influence blindly as well. He led me to believe that the aid he needed was with the search for the murderer. I believe there is more. But, I will not force his tongue. For now I will aid in their investigations. He wished to set up a meeting tomorrow, to meet with the rest of the troupe.

In the meantime, I did go to Federal Way and spoke with a good officer and received little information. The house listed as his address was lived in, but was too lived in for one of the blood. Maybe tomorrow we will have better luck.
