--BenofZongo 13:38, 28 March 2007 (MST)Fair enough...I proposed the first one because it's essentially the system we used in the iliadic game and it worked pretty well. But if those methods don't sound appealing, I'll probably just switch to fixed amounts of xp, perhaps modified by 1 or 2 at GM discretion.

--Dieter the Bold 14:29, 28 March 2007 (MST) I think set XP would work fine, but for those who want to give their character's concrete goals and actively work towards them via gameplay, I think they should be free to approach the GM and ask for an extra point or two towards something specific. I also think it makes sense that all Path/Focus movement (up or down) should be done by GM fiat, although players are free to request and make a case for movement.
