I'm just putting up general notes here, if you would like, and I sure would, please leave your thoughts. Like would this be fun to play? I personally feel that is seems a bit hoaky. Thanks. -Gabe

The Setting: Earth, in the future. The world has been torn apart by a great war.

The Reason: The old gods are losing power and it is time for the next generation of gods to take power.

The War: A huge war involving the entire world (entire???).

Present times: The old “gods” have exhausted their resources, they have lost many followers. How long did the war last? For over 100 years the gods battled. Since the final battle another 200 years has passed.

Powers manifest in a few ways. When using nano-tech it usually is a type of machine or item. This range from flaming swords, glass wings, floating orbs, winged boots, all the way to huge machines that cover the user.

The bio powers would usually manifest as energy and give the user an aura effect. These are usually along the lines of blasts of certain types of energy, mental powers, control of gravity, longevity, immunity to toxins and diseases, regeneration, teleportation, super speed, independent breathing, colossal strength and endurance, and so on.

These aren’t exclusive, sometimes blasts may be granted by nano-tech or by both forms of tech.

What exactly happened during the Great War…

Tensions between The Holy Republic of America and The Heavenly Kingdom increased to a boiling point and lead to open warfare when a group of HRA workers were attacked and killed by HK extremists. Eventually all other countries joined in open warfare on each other, purging the heretics and trying to install their ideals.

So I’m a god?

Well not quite. The characters would be about super hero level, perhaps a bit stronger. In general a normal human has no chance against an ED, but a group of humans might have a chance. As EDs gain experience they become more comfortable with their powers and become stronger, able to lay waste to almost an entire army. However, they still can be killed and it was not unheard of during the Great War for an ED to fall to a massive well directed army who did not posses an ED.

The world now is mixed technology, some have around equal to 20th century tech while others are all the way back to medieval technology. Most of the “super” tech has been lost but does exist in a few key places, these places would almost all be ruled over by an older ED.

EDs (Just what does that stand for... is has been forgotten...) A.K.A. – Old Ones, Angels, Fate Bringers, Neo-Gods, Ether Lords

Common Characteristics: Unless otherwise noted, all EDs share the following traits.
Near Immortality – An average life span for an ED is assumed to be over 1500 years.
Immune to Diseases and Poisons
Skin has the hardness of metal due to the integrated nano-technology.
Senses are at least 2 times better then humans.
Do require sleep but not as much.
Do require food.
Do not need to breath.

Point of Game: To allow the characters to determine the course of human kind. Will they rule? Will they try to live a sheltered life? What of their parents? Will they depose them? Will they try to take over the entire world? What of the Neo-Ark?
