Pershing Clan

The patriarch of the Pershing "clan" is Emmett Pershing. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, but was dishonorably discharged for theft (which was lucky for him, as it was the least of his crimes that the government ever found out about). He spent a short term in Leavenworth, and moved back home to Washington state. He ran afoul of the law time and time again until he finally served a 5-year stint at the state Penitentiary in Walla Walla. It was here that he fell in with the Aryan Brotherhood, and when he got out, began living their lifestyle; one of the tenets of which is to breed like crazy in order to counter the numbers of all the blacks, Mexicans and other "undesirables." In this vein, Emmett was married and had many children, and also had multiple affairs, producing untold numbers of bastard sons and daughters. He encouraged his own children to start having kids as early and often as they could, and to drain state and federal coffers in helping to raise them. This effectively makes the Pershing clan sort of a hydra; there is no way to truly know how many of them are really out there, and they seem to come out of the woodwork at times.

The Pershings are often mixed up in several layers of felonious activities including, but not limited to: Theft, burglary, racketeering, drug manufacture and distribution, fraud, witness tampering, rape and murder.

It is rumored that Emmett Pershing and his eldest sons have some power over the local authorities, but this has not been substantiated.
