Alien Weapon "Green Gun A"

This is a large pistol-sized weapon (about the size of a Desert Eagle .50) In use, it appears to be a "semi automatic" weapon based on its rate of fire. It fires a bright green energy pulse that leaves a noticeable incandescent trail through the air. Reaction with solid matter appears to cause a significant kinetic impact and thermal damage, but not much in the way of penetration.

This weapon has not yet been researched, and its method of activation is at this point unknown.
