FN SCAR-H

The FN SCAR is the standard battle rifle of the US Army Rangers. It is highly accurate and has options for numerous additional components such as scopes, holographic reflex sights, IR laser sights, tactical lights, etc. It fires the 5.56 NATO round from STANAG (M16) magazines.

The SCAR has an interchangeable magazine/barrel that allows an operator to convert the weapon from 5.56mm to the heavier 7.62mm. The increased damage comes at the cost of reduced accuracy and smaller magazine capacity. In the 7.62mm configuration, the weapon is known as the SCAR-H.
