Lizardman Detector

The "Lizardman Detector" is a device presented to the Elma resistance cell by Draco. They can use the simple detector to determine if a human being's mental faculties are being controlled or influenced by psionic abilities. The device is really just a very sensitive EMF detector that can pick up the minute readings from neural electrical activity. Specific patterns of activity are evidently always present in psionic control, and that is what the device picks up on.

The name was bestowed upon the device by Doug Wilson, and has become common parlance. It is also sometimes referred to as an "LD."

Basic research on this technology has been completed. It is understood well enough to replicate.
