The Attack Drone looks like a larger version of the scout drone, but is smaller than the assault drone. It is a disc about two feet across and six inches thick at the center, though it gets thinner at the edges.
Weapon Systems
This weapon platform has only been encountered by the Elma Resistance in the employ of alien forces. As such, knowledge of its weapon systems are limited. It has been seen to launch small explosives with decent accuracy, and most often is seen using some sort of a red beam weapon, possibly a laser. Like the scout and assault drone, this weapon platform is not autonomous, and X-Com Agents have witnessed Grays in the field controlling them with a neural interface helmet.
This technology has not been researched.
