The alien "Ray Gun" is a pistol-sized weapon. It is a bit sleeker than "Green Gun A." The weapon was in the possession of a Gray suspected of being the leader or captain of the vessel.
The weapon was only used once against the human strike team before someone emptied the mag from an assault rifle into the Gray wielding it, thus ending further field observation of how it might be used to eviscerate them. The one time it was fired, it released a continuous energy beam. Effects on human armor or flesh are not known, as the Gray firing it missed.
Since the weapon has been recovered, no one has attempted to use it.
