Gravin Clothilde von Alptraum is a noble of the von Alptraum family living in Averheim. She wields more political power than her station would indicate, partially because she is so well connected, but also partially because she is both attractive and unmarried, which makes her extremely important in the maneuvering toward a new elector count (or countess). She is most concerned with matters pertaining to the cults of Shallya and Verena, saying that the greatest threats to The Empire are privation and ignorance.
