This page is for discussion of stuff related to the game coming up this week, no matter when that actually is. For instance, we can all assume Nate isnt coming for some lame reason and that Ed is sick of pizza and is bringing teriyaki or some other crap. Attendance and Food Preference
--Gdaze 15:31, 4 January 2009 (MST) Hey all. So what are we playing this week? I will be at gaming but have to leave around 10 or so.
ED: present. no pizza as usual. game to be palyed is up to the GMs. my recollection is that we did two sessions of OAAAA, but may be wrong i have been absent a lot.
BEN: I was assuming we would be doing session #3 of OAAAA, but it's fine by me if we want to switch to supers. If I'm not GMing, I will be absent (If I am GMing, I will definitely be attending).

So I just though I would share this with the group.
I picked up a table top game called AT-43, it uses pre-painted figures that are very cool but off-the-wall expensive. However Fantasy Flight won't carry the product in America anymore so they discounted them by over 50%. The plot of the game is that there are this robotic race who is trying to destory planets in order to build Dyson spheres in order to stop the universe from evertually imploding (very long term plans).
Anyway, stuff happens, and there is now a four way war, two human sides, the robot people, and space apes. A huge fight ends up happening on one of the robot Dyson spheres.
Wow lots of background? Anyway, they came out with an "RPG" where you play as mixed fragtions on the Dyson Sphere, and here is the plot on why the races work together...
Illegal actions are taking away from the war effort, so they must be stopped so all resources can go towards fighting each other.
Wow, its like they didn't even try. Lets work together so we can kill each other faster. If you fail the mission though the Dyson Sphere breaks and the sun inside breaks out.
The universe is actually pretty neat but sometimes suffers from very poor story elements.

Aefra: Well, yesterday went pretty well, except for you all almost becoming ugly splats on the rocks. Anyone up for planning our approach this time? Any ideas? Should we go find that thiefly guy who has allegedly been in the tower before?
Aetan: If we were to build a bridge from that island to the mainland...
Aefra: Oh... my.... gods. that is such a good idea! why didn't we think of that before? I have another idea, how about Fantus makes flying potions this time and gives them to everyone, just in case. i think you'd all look fabulous with wings.
Fantus: How about we hold off on that one... I don't want to be smacked by the same foce that hit the carpet! Can't you like turn us invisable? Isn't that part of the light, illusion magic you practice?
